It was a Sunday afternoon and we didn't really know what to do. It was too far into the afternoon to go anywhere major but we fancied being out in the lovely sun. We had the idea of going for Cream Tea and googled places to go near where we live. We found one about 10 minutes away in Glynde (not too far from Brighton) and we are so glad we found it.
Its in a tiny little village surrounded by beautiful fields, trees & flowers and was the perfect setting for afternoon tea. Its a perfect place for a cream tea followed by a nice long walk (or the other way round may be more suitable!).

The welcome we received was wonderful, the owners were extremely welcoming and polite and we felt that they couldn't do enough for us. The prices are really not bad at all and for under £10.00 my partner and I enjoyed a tea and scone each with a generous helping of jam and clotted cream. The garden that we sat in was peaceful and well decorated and it honestly felt like could be sitting in a gorgeous garden in France!
It had such a gorgeous homely feel to it and we loved the extra little touches such as the tea cosy on the tea pot and the brightly coloured napkins, it was just all just so lovely!
